>>13755846I watch AJPW and Noah
AJPW is doing pretty good. They have shaken off a lot of dead weight recently and the program has been gradually improving. One of the best parts about AJPW is how vocal and excited the crowd gets. It really draws you in and gets you more involved than you might otherwise have been.
As for my favorite it is a toss up between Yuma Anzai and Kento Miyahara. Yuma is unbelievably gifted for how green he is, and you can actually see him get better as a wrestler from series to series. Kento is over with me just because of how over he is with the AJPW crowds. They mark out so hard for him and the way he is able to work the crowd and get them engaged no matter how throw away the match is really shows how well he knows his audience.
Noah is in kind of a rough spot at the moment. They dropped the ball hard when Muta retired and squandered a lot of goodwill bringing in Jake Lee and strapping a rocket to him. Jake Lee soured the audience hard for a minutes, but while the crowds haven't accepted Jake Lee yet, but it seems that they are just choosing to tolerate him. Noah has a massive gaijin problem at the moment where they give way too much space on the card to dimeless western shitters. Lots of completely uncharismatic guys that cut overly long promos in English and cool the crowd off even if they were able to get them hot during a match. The Lucha that Noah has are pretty good, and I can't wait for El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. to return from his current excursion in Europe.
