Nah, thats all wrestling mythology. The polka dots were Dusty's idea, and thats from his autobiography. He also wore polka dots in 70s. And Dusty had a good run in the WWF, and made more money during that time than he ever did in the NWA/WCW. Vince wasn't trying to humiliate him.
