All his work in Japan as a heel is just top notch. Other than his late career stuff in the WWE the guy really leaned hard into the squeaky clean babyface so seeing him be an absolute bellend to all the Japs is really fun.

I'm still mad they made Backlund drop the belt to Diesel on a fucking house show instead of having Backlund keep the belt as this maniac old heel from a bygone era coming back to the WWF and schooling the New Generation until WrestleMania 11 and have Diesel dethrone him and prove the New Generation era has begun.
