Regardless of what anyone thinks about it, a lot happened in 2000, and then it just feels different towards the end. It was strange when it happened because they never ever gave hints at all. Around early March it was as if everything was still normal, and then immediately after the Greed pay-per-view you would start to get a weird feeling that something big was about to happen. Then Vince appears on Nitro the following week, which is still the most shocking moment in wrestling history for me.
