Not really fair. Tony has basically reworked the entire control apparatus of the company since he's been out. Theres an actual booker now and the people in the top programs of the company arent injured or in need of surgery.

Face mjf shouldnt have been attempted, certainly not with a midcard angle using the companys most important title, but it was the best/only thing the company had going on for like a year as everyone else was out.

Theres something to be said for mjf actually working to improve his physique and promo style as the top guy, too.

Face MJF was over big in the summer with the brochacho shit. The problem was they drew it out wayyy too long and the wrong guy turned heel. The devil arc was awful and shouldve been scrapped

Yeah the brochacho shit. Personally, I wasn't too into it but it had a positive reception from the audience.
