>>13788453I am sure this will convince WBD to give AEW a deal instead of cancelling them, as they're currently planning to do

Both companies are dropping for Live+24 hours but that doesn't tell the whole story. Most Cable providers now give you a cable box that has DVR built-in - some include the service for free, others make you pay for it. Regardless, millions of Americans record shows the night of and watch later - which is why Live+3 days and Live+7 days are also important metrics
Raw routinely suffers in the 3rd hour but it's not as big of an issue because DVR exists. You can understand why some people might watch about half the show and save the rest for the next night. Sitting through 3 hours of the program is a bit much.
Collision has piss-poor numbers for Live+1 Day, but I wouldn't doubt if AEW routinely gained another few hundred thousand viewers on Sunday-Tuesday. It's not ideal from an advertising perspective, but if you're advertising dick pills and Snickers bars, it doesn't really matter if you don't see the ad until 72 hours later. It's only when you're advertising on Saturday night for a show on Sunday afternoon where you might be wasting a chunk of change.
Anyhow.
Ratings matter, have always mattered, and will always continue to matter - no how much any random Twitter faggot or /PW/ faggot or YouTube faggot or any other type of faggot wants to downplay their significance. You are pissing into the wind and not convincing anyone - not even yourself.
