He would criticize gymnasts that call themselves "wrestlers" (almost everyone now). And he would criticize exploitative hardcore trash "wrestling" too, which is so popular today among "wrestling" fans.
Mr. Backlund would get heat for it, but wrestling is so corporatized today that he would be "cancelled" before he ever got on air.
