When AEW started, they had more than enough to talk about, speculate, criticize, fantasy book. Now they're all tapped out because AEW is the same old shit week after week and no one even wants to hear Jim shit on it anymore. WWE has the same boring matches too, but with a few talking segments that pop them.
Brian "The Militant Jew" Last would never scale back the length of the podcasts, so we're stuck with them going through the motions over matches neither them or the audience cares about. They can only do so many old territory stories because they get repeated too.
