Online is definitely garbage but the commentary and AI is fine. Anyway Universe mode has been neglected and buggy for years. You need to pay better attention next year and make smarter purchasing decisions. There's a reason they hardly mention universe in all the promo shit they do and if it repeats for 2k25 then that's your clue to not buy the shit.

I found out tonight it won't let me add wrestlers with alternate outfits when substituting participants in a Royal Rumble match. When you select the wrestler it shows the outfit choices, and when you select one of those it kicks you back to the match participants screen with all of your picks reset. You have to go back through and re-select every choice you made.

It's playable. I stayed away after 2k20, but decided to try 2k24 because I haven't played a WWE game in a while. It's very good. It's very different, it's not exactly grapple - reverse - hit - block, it does have that, but it's done differenly and it's a fresh twist on a pretty much solved game. Would recommend it even if you don't watch WWE because it has 300 fucking wrestlers from every generation available and you can pretty much make any wrestler ever.

I don't want to play mark-in-the-ring mode, especially having heard you can get penalized for winning too much. For that sort of thing I prefer Shadow of War. I want to play GM Mode or preferably the hybrid of Universe and GM everyone has been wanting since it came out.
I think it might have started or returned in 2k22 though so maybe you don't know/care about it

I just want to "manage the business" and keep track of wrestlers' health, hype, skills, specialties, rivalries etc with actual in-game metrics like GM mode. There needn't even be a "rival" and I don't want a time limit, I just want to pile up money and higher bigger and bigger stars. Maybe start as an indie mudshow with a small pool of nobodies to hire on a shoestring budget and work up to grand productions and storylines.
But I also want to watch virtual Io ass as she heems Sarray or whatever.
TEW is a no graphic having bitch and seems more geared towards the gay Vince type shenanigans of the 90s
I think I did download a crack one time but couldn't bring myself to care enough to start any mode of it once I opened it
