>>13805522>WE ARE ALL ELITE!Get a fucking life holy shit. Is that you, Tony?
I'll waste my time explaining this to you, because you haven't got a working brain.
Pro wrestling tells stories about winners and losers. AEW branded itself as a place where that matters, ironically enough.
The best wrestler always wins. That's the basic story framework for a wrestling company.
In aew, everyone is competitive with everyone. Any random jobber can walk in and go 20 minutes with Omega. So, therefore, everyone in AEW is as good as the worst guy in the company so no one is special and no one is a top guy.
Further, a big moment is when someone goes over and above to get a win in an important fight. In AEW, the opening card jobbers spam every big move that the main event is using. Nothing is special. There's nothing to overcome, some guys just get more time to do more agreed upon spots in their trademark routine. It's everything wrong with the WWE house style but in a more wasteful way. They just do their moves of doom but they do all of the moves in every match and it just blurs together. No one is special. Some guys were famous elsewhere and on twitter so they get the top spots. That's the only difference between upper and lower card.
You know why the fans want Tony to sign everyone? Because the debut of a wrestler is the most important they ever are in aew and then they fall down to irrelevance because of this nonsense. So he needs another new one, and another. He just burned through 3 and all 3 of them are in the midcard already.
