He said when he signed it a few years ago that he was retiring when it was done and not long after he came into WWE he said he wanted to learn behind the scenes stuff. He doesn't want to keep going when he's a shell of himself and he's clearly started hitting the "broken down old guy" phase of his career. Only people who want him to keep going are AEWtists who want yummy wummy dreamy weamy empty arena matches.

But yeah he'll basically be in the HoF a year or two after he retires and they'll probably give him whatever backstage position he wants.
