Kevin Owens won a tournament to be crowned number one contender at the royal rumble, where he lost in controversial fashion after utilising Logan's brass knuckles. Kevin has wanted his rematch since then but both men qualified for the World Heavyweight championship elimination chamber.
At the press conference, both men got into a fight as tensions boiled over due to Paul's disrespect for the veteran owens. Triple H and Randy Orton stepped in to break this up. During the elimination chamber, Paul continuously antagonised Owens who was eliminated by Orton. Paul was then eliminated by Orton as well despite being in prime position to win the chamber and move on to Wrestlemania, leading to Paul lashing out and costing Orton his shot at Wrestlemania.
Both men had unfinished business with Logan, who utilised his stooges to keep them at arms length before Adam Pearce stepped in and announced that Logan would defend against BOTH MEN at Wrestlemania!
