Almost everyone says "Their PPVs are better than WWE because of the superior in-ring!" which is technically true but they also have terrible weekly shows with nothing to draw you in as a fan. At least WWE has a constant plot back when Vinnie Mac was in charge. What is going with Nexus? Why did they attack everyone? Who can defeat Undertaker? How will Roman overcome his leukemia? Can John Cena defeat CM Punk in his hometown, or is Punk winning the title at Money in the Bank? What will happen between Drew Mcintyre and Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania? See, they keep you guessing each week until the PPV comes. With AEW, you just know you'll get a ton of spotfests and technical workrate strong-style whatever, so you kind of know what to expect every single time.
