This guy Cody goes out and almost begs for the crowd to remember he's the protagonist of this story, not Rock and has to talk booking decisions on live TV to try get the audience to sympathize with him. Rock has threatened to USE his corporate powers (as part of his corporate gimmick/the TKO angle) if Cody+Seth don't comply with these WM stipulations (therefore kayfabe giving a reason why Cody and Seth have little choice but to comply).
