I was always got the feeling Cody was jealous of Omega’s success. Like in Cody’s own mind when Omega had that 3 or w/e year run where he was the hottest wrestler on the earth Cody thought it should’ve been him. Cody’s always first to accept credit for AEW as HIS baby but like I’ve never ever heard him credit Kenny’s rise and stardom during his peak with the crossover buzz he created vs Okada and and Jericho as essential factors to All In and AEW becoming a thing.
