I dont like these promos that force you to learn about the innerworkings of the company at all. it can add another layer, but it's not a layer I really care to know about. when did this all start?

They have been around for years but Punk was probably the big start and push for it. Rock and HHH are not helping either, as Rock obviously killed any and all heat this had days after WM40 kick off with his tweet. Then again recently by appearing on a chat show where he talks about playing the bad guy. Blurring the lines is fine, like Rock getting pissed and telling HHH to fix it or he will, but cutting right through them is dumb. Their thinking is that they can't work the fans in the old way anymore so have to use dirtsheets and gossip online to create heat. They're wrong.
