Cable TV is declining in subscribers - it is counterproductive for media companies to shove all the good shows on Network TV and gut Cable TV. That's why companies are willing to pay higher prices for shows to lure them away from network TV
AEW's next deal, one way or another, will pale in comparison to WWE's recent round of new deals. Which is fine, and doesn't even have to be a laughing matter. But the ground has been salted for months now, and it's only a matter of time before before the chickens come home to reap what they have sown.
