This is actually tougher to call than I initially thought because of just how much in the shitter AEW has been. They're probably about even maybe prime TNA is a little better than current AEW. AEW when it was rolling was much better than anything TNA has done though.

TNA in it's prime is arguably better than the fucking Attitude Era dude. Perc Angle, Main Event Mafia, Prime AJ Styles, Prime Samoa Joe, a bunch of big name WCW guys, Abyss, X division, the Dudleyz and Beer Money and tons of great tag teams, Prime Christian, Vince Russo being the best writer in history.

I don't think so because despite it never really being a success it's actually provided kino moments and came along at a time where people remember it and revere it. If AEW shut down tomorrow absolutely no one would even be able to name a single significant anything about it other than it being a laughing stock. AEW has never even had a Sharkboy moment. Even their big "stars" no one's gonna wax poetic about fataholic Jericho and his shit matches on a show famous for supporting transgenders

Easily, yes.
TNA at it's peak had a clear brand identity, homegrown stars, distinctive and alternative styles and divisions and it had stories. AEW is just a WWE style production done badly with no story and constant, random moves.

If AEW went under tomorrow people would probably fondly remember the first year and remember the company as a flash in the pan "revolution" that attempted to disrupt the wheel/grip that the WWE had on the industry. A respectable attempt but ultimately one that has been failing/failed because of the man pulling all the strings was just a mark like you or I but with daddy Khan money. While AEW has never been a real threat to the WWE it might've spooked them early on when they had all the traction that they did. That's a credit in and of itself.

I'll tell you who they're not better than: The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Undertaker, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Mick Foley, Trips, WCW Crow Sting, nWo, the Great Muta and Chono (even though their WCW stint was kind of short), etc.

If you count all the stars and all time great workers between both the WWF and WCW during the Attitude Era throughout the entire fucking card I would easily rather have the Attitude Era lineup and I love AJ Styles and Perc Angle.
