I did and do. I subscribe to Honor Club and watch the big New Japan shows. I was a tape trader back in the day and watched all the classics from Japan and early ROH.
AEW is the spiritual successor to all of that and I like it more because it’s got a bigger variety. I can watch Okada and Eddie Kingston wrestle a strong style match or watch a hoss off between Samoa Joe and Wardlow. Sometimes on the same show. That’s not even getting into the Lucha stuff.

Can you name one good Lucha match from AEW? I'm not talking about Penta or Gravity doing thigh slapping super kicks and fore arm exchanges. I'm talking about an AEW match that actually uses the fundamentals of Lucha Libre instead of the american indie style, and it's not a sloppy mess?

At this point I don't even know. Some of the matches can still be good and exciting but this point I'm watching on the idea of its potential to bounce back and get back to where it was a few years ago than because the product is sensational rn.
