>>13861187>>13861319This is usually used as a chain after an armbar if you can't extend the arm straight, and they keep it bent. Usually on guys bigger/stronger than you as they'll bend the arm to avoid the armbar, but they have less range of motion in their elbow. What Swerve is supposed to do is put his left leg over his right ankle and squeeze down hard, basically folding their arm over Swerve's forearm and you can pop their bicep doing that.
It's the same motion that the calf crusher (AJ Styles used to use) except it's bending the arm instead of the leg. If you get a pipe or a pole, put it in the joint of your elbow, then try and squeeze your arm bent as hard as you can, that's the pressure.
That being said, I have no idea why he doesn't triangle the legs and actually put the hold on, because to make someone tap with this you really have to squeeze hard to do it. You could hold the position and squeeze at 50% and there's no danger. It just looks lazy and shit the way he's done it.
>TL;DR: It's a legit hold, and can be put on and squeezed without injury/pain unless you're trying, but Swerve has put it on horribly and lazily so it looks shit.>t. MMA coach
