And yeah, the idea of it is neat, but you see it in practice and everyone's mystique is fucking gone. You look at AAA, Triplemania's got some AEW matches. All the way in Australia? Buddy's slumming it up in Melbourne. Everywhere is AEW now. Nothing's special, no prestige, no nothing. Just yummy heckin' dream matches forever. I'm doubling down on my local indies and watching Dragon Gate just to fucking feel something again, man. It feels like we've been gentrified. Happy for the talent throughout all this, however. More money and more contracts going around now than they've had in decades.
