It's super interesting though. Rampage is absolute antidimes, even when airing the same night, and right after Dynamite. Not even the hardcore audience want to stay around for it.

It's a huge improvement on the usual, but that's not the take away here. The fact that almost 300,000 immediately switched off once they realised Rampage was on is a much bigger deal. Basically it proves that Rampage can't draw even in the most ideal of situations. Nobody cares about Rampage.

I'm not talking about Dynamite though, and that wasn't the question. Dynamite is doing fine. It does draw in it's slot, and even 800,000 weekly is a good number. But, again, 260k people just switching off immediately tells you something. To ignore that is just ignorance.

honestly ratings for both shows were disappointing. the edge main event was hyped for an entire week and it didnt even bring the ratings up. neither did sasha or anybody else. yes rampage ratings were up but its because it was on after dynamite. but as people are pointing out that rating drop the instant rampage started is terrible

I can confirm. I watch Dynamite every week. Collision about 50% of the time. But never Rampage. I'm not sitting at home on a friday night to watch an hour of what is basically AEW's version of sunday night heat.

Even AEW's own fans don't like Hampage. It doesn't have low ratings because of its regular time slot, it has low ratings because they just plain don't like it. Which is understandable since it's a horrible wasteland of jobbers, literally whos, and pointless cold matches. Which so is Swineamite but Hampage is so much worse that most AEsWines can't slop it up. Even pigs have limits.
