That said the Catch Crew rules they use are dumb af. It would be one thing if they did it Freebirds style where in tag matches you never know which of the two you will face. For singles competition the rule is really really dumb.

Like if it was a challenge to the group as a whole that makes sense, but when Dempsey holds the heritage cup, and someone challenges him specifically for the trophy he hilds, then they shouldn't get a completely different person as a match. I kinda get what Shawn is going for, but it is just way too logically inconsistent even with suspension of disbelief.
