i have these dreams where im in an office park or shopping center or parking lot. the place is lit up hard, like stadium-tier lighting, and there’s a vaguely European pop/dance station playing from embedded speakers throughout. all the offices or stores have their lights on, but nobody’s around, no even a car. surrounding it is zero dark blackness. impenetrable. you know there’s things out there but you can’t see them
it’s in those dreams i am happiest. well, most content, at any rate.
