People were hyped for Cody and Roman on its own. They had wanted it all year. Now it's entirely splintered and Rock has turned a portion of the crowd against Cody despite him meant to be the heel, while also burying Rollins each week, and leaving Drew to look like a complete afterthought. He's taken the stories for what should be the top two matches on the card and made them entirely about himself despite not being a direct part in either of them. And for what? Tickets were already sold. It hasn't done more than a drop in the bucket in terms of their ratings. He just wasn't needed this late in the game
