He was making a crunch crunch crunch sound while he ate, but then he swallowed, and moved his spoon down towards the bowl. When the spoon moved so did his head and the crunching sound continued which is when I realized I wasn't hearing the sound of him eating, but the sound his neck makes every time his head moves in even the slightest.
