It's the first wrestling promotion to even attempt challenging WWE's monopoly since WCW went out of business 23 years ago, it's got billionaire funding, a national TV deal on a mainstream network, and at one point in time it had a pretty compelling roster. It SHOULD be doing at least 2 million viewers, there SHOULD be a new Monday Night war, wrestling SHOULD be relevant again. But Tony dropped the ball so fucking badly that AEW just ended up being TNA 2.0. And I don't even mean good TNA, AEW is like post-Hogan TNA where the whole company was blatantly washed up and it had nowhere to go but down. Shit's pathetic.
