In which case I could see him quickly being in that midcard environment where you had the likes of Angle, Jericho, Benoit, Malenko, Guerrero, etc. He’d have as much of a chance to work his way toward being a main event top guy as those guys did minus Malenko. His style would work well with those guys more than the top guys of that time. At best, like at top I can see Omega having a similar career trajectory as someone like Kurt Angle or Jericho specifically. Not quite a Rock, Austin, Taker, or even a HHH in the Attitude Era but at best could’ve held a world title for a while in the AE and worked with some of those guys and would’ve been one of those “ring work” guys.
