>>13900477True, taking turns doing moves is good for 1-2 opening matches, not a 4 hour PPV full of them
>>13900483Also true, styles make fights. UFC is/was the best when you have someone with a BJJ/Judo blackbelt or amateur Boxing background, who trains other things on the side. UFC **FUCKING SUCKS** when everyone is a generic slopper who "trains MMA" and isn't a master at anything

>>13900458Basketball is boring because teams don't even care about all-around players any more, they just draft freak athletes -- the 6'8 point guard who shoots 40% FG. The days with the occasional Nate Robinson or Allen Iverson are gone, teams would rather gamble on freaks who they can develop, and if they can't, they release them.
>>13900367See above. Wrestling promotions are starting to treat their rosters like College Basketball teams do -- put 5 athletic freaks on the court, don't worry about who plays what position, or what plays to run, or any offensive/defensive scheme -- just let them run up and down the court and figure it out. It doesn't work.
TNA has the formula right now, but not the star-power or financial backing. If I were a billionaire looking for a promotion to fund, then much like your mother, that's the one I'd like to get behind. They have a great mix of athletes, brawlers, promos, backstage shenanigans, good announce team. They've got it all except a fanbase, revenue, the ability to make a profit, and so on.
