Work for WWE, here is what I've heard....

Roman is really pissed that he's probably going to have to drop the belt to Cody and has been making a lot of noise to TKO to get Hunter overruled. Rock has been helping him in this, and last I heard, they managed to bully the top brass at TKO to approach Hunter/Cody with the following scenario:

Night one, Roman no-shows the tag match and it's Rock vs Cody, with Seth being taken out by a mystery man midway through the show before Roman is confirmed a no show. Cody gets to beat Rock, flawless victory no interference.

Night two, Roman vs Cody. Roman opens the show and tells Rock he no-showed because he knew Rock would fail him and beats up Rock, turning him face. There will also be a running thread through night two with Cody accusing Punk of being the man who attacked Seth but then Punk is attacked in view of several wrestlers by the mystery man who attacked Seth. And for him to tell Punk after beating him, "Payback's a bitch"...
