Ocean eel is almost always fantastic. River eel, the kind that it the Hamamatsu specialty can be an acquired taste. It has a bit of a muddy flavor it is hasn't been properly cleaned. The eel sauce ia fantastic. It's worth a try if you have never had it. I'm finna order an unagidon for lunch today in fact of course.
