The trash can bit immediately have me flashbacks to when People’s Champ Rock deemed Vince with one backstage and then KO’d his ass with the mid as the limo driver drove him away.
The outside section when rock was almost dangling Cody over the roof gave me STRONG vibes of Rock-Austin when Rock threw Stone Cold off that bridge.
I really think this run to Rock-Roman is Rock’s last time coming back like this before he retires for good. He’s bringing back callbacks from almost every other version of his character whether it’s in his entrance music or what he’s wearing or what he’s doing and this all feels like there’s some underlying finality here
