Another big difference is the Catholic Bible has 7 OT books Protestant Bibles don't because Martin Luther couldn't find any evidence they were ever in the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) and concluded that someone made them up and they weren't God breathed or else the Jews would have them too.
Protestant Churches allow for clergy to marry and have families while Catholic priests, monks, and nuns aren't allowed to do that. That's also a huge difference as it leads to more kids getting fucked. And the fucked up thing? Homosexual pedophilia leads to getting reassigned to another church in a different place but heterosexual pedophilia leads to excommunication because it could potentially lead to childbirth.
There's also a lot more I'm forgetting.
But for my own understand, what's the difference between Sunni and Shiite? Not just the split that caused the branches but how they worship and whatnot.
