>>13936987Five hours of TV plus ROH and online stuff seems insane to me. The only way casuals could make heads or tails of it all would be either a hard brand split, or you make Dynamite and Collision radically different, for example if Collision was an old-fashioned studio show like 80s NWA.
Guys who are being featured seem to live in different universes. Okada, Ospreay, Danielson, Joe, Moxley, Wardlow, whatever your opinion of each of them is they are not going to help draw ratings if they all feel pigeonholed and separated from each other. Meanwhile on WWE TV the top guys regularly interact and cross pollinate between storylines (Cody, Roman, Rock, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Zayn, Gunther, Drew, Punk, Nakamura, AJ, Knight, Orton). They won't all interact each week but they do enough for everything to feel connected and cohesive.
Less "meta" promos. Instead of talking about the state of the company and how he is a 5* match guy, the likes of Ospreay should be cutting promos on other top stars with real heat behind it.
Since most AEW guys work only 1-2 times per week I would hire a team of personal trainers and force a training regimen. The likes of Eddie Kingston have no right being in the shape they are in. Like it or not visuals and athleticism are important to casuals, good promos can only carry certain characters who don't look in shape.
The blueprint that needs to be looked at is CM Punk's programme with MJF. Every segment meant something and everyone involved was elevated. It felt like a real heated rivalry and drew viewers because of it. It isn't rocket science
