He could play up his awkward posturing as his fey best to stay beloved the fans but hated himself and had to play against his own intuitions, hence why he just never seemed like he was acting naturally with the weird clothes and strange posing.
Seth CONSTANTLY feels like he's a face on the verge of being a heel. Hates being "the good guy" because so many fools and dipshits in his way deserve an unbridled ass kicking but his need for positive reactions from the fans keeps him from ever going to that extreme. Whenever something gets to him in-character and he has to address it his promos always turn into a vindictive, spiteful rundown of the problems he's got with someone with no hint of stupid gimmick or cheese.
