So this personally hurt you? I don't agree that its only been AEW fans being tribalistic. WWE fans have been like this for decades, used to be especially gruesome against TNA and their fans for example. So this isn't exclusive to AEW at all. Both have some really toxic fans.

WCW and WWF were both good. Everyone watched both, switching channels, because it was must-see TV. Anytime I try to watch AEW, it's mid at best, and absolute garbage at its worst. Add to that the fans being total spazzes, and yeah. That's where you're at.

Watching them act smug about their latest "game changer" from Sunday through Thursday morning only to have a catastrophic meltdown for 48 hours after the ratings drop is so unbelievably satisfying. I'm the same but I watch NXT too. It's a much better show now that the lifers like gargano and cole are all gone and there's nothing left but college age kids who might be fired at any point and are trying their hardest to get over
