>>13958334It's called a Passion Play. We did them in my 100 person Parish. It isn't just a brown people thing. My Parish growing up was the only one in a really rural area and was entirely White, and we had a Passion Play ever Easter. The manager of the community theater a town over was Catholic so she would go all out with props and costumes. It was usually so cool that other denominations of Christians would show up to watch the play.
