Coomer threads are easily identified and can be avoided if you're not in the mood for it. They very rarely meddle with existing threads and when they do, it never fully derails them.

While the average console war thread is also easily identified, they will also swarm to completely innocent threads and completely derail them as well. They are a simple fact of life of the board and if you cannot tolerate console war shitposting then you'd be better off not browsing /pw/ until your mood changes.
