I haven't stayed super up to date with AJPW, but I was under the impression that they were trending into a slump after a super strong start to the year. Maybe pushing Anzai is an attempt to pick back up from that. He's really good, to be fair.

You're probably right, I haven't kept up with AJPW enough to really read into the booking there. Either way I'm excited to watch the match, though it might take me some time to get there.
