The gamer gimmick was obviously his idea since he was trying to be a twitch streamer at the time, and wanted to plug that.
The fact he couldn't cut an unscripted promo is his fault.
His "average" and pretty generic in-ring ability is his fault.
His refusal to do jobs is his fault, and he's lucky he didn't get buried on TV for it (which is what WWE would have done if he pulled that there).
His first match (with Janela and Kiss) kind-of sucked. That's at least in part TK's fault for booking the match with unsuitable opponents. However it's also Miro's fault for not being an adaptable worker, as guys like Kenny Omega had pulled solid matches out of Janela.
Come to think of it, that might be part of why TK started hiring ex-wwe midcard guys who everyone knew wouldn't draw - he wanted guys who could work with other ex-wwe talent and put them over.
