Yeah, and it's insane how close AEW's practices are to WCW's before they went out of business.

Massive contracts, working once a week, don't even want to be there, don't even want to be seen so Tony forgets they are there so they can just collect checks.

Where have we seen this before? AEW is losing so much fucking money it's unreal but it'll never come out until much later when it's dead and buried. Shad has infinite money to keep this going, but he will eventually pull the plug. Rich don't stay rich by burning money.

AEW losses are probably a tax write off for them, but even if they aren't they can easily pay for it at the current rate just from the profits off their extra investments. You have no idea how much 12B is.

I'm saying funding it is basically a rounding error for them. Means nothing.
And it should be different after the next media rounds. And Tony could just decide to start running it like an asshole and it would be way more profitable overnight. Lots of people to cut and I'm pretty sure he could get some kind of rich Arab country to pay him for a show there if he wanted. I'd bet he's already gotten calls.

It's been running at a lost since it launched and people think a new TV deal will magically make that fact disappear. Newsflash retards; talent payroll, running arenas, live tv/production all cost money, the live shows gates aren't even covering the costs to run the buildings. AEW's biggest money making venture is PPVs and they have to split what they make across the platforms that carry them.
