You say it in jest but it's actually the truth. Tickets are bought and sold months and months in advance. There's no telling who exactly is going to be on or doing what at that point. You're going to see WWE who promote a loose list of top talent for each show that of course is card subject to change. Mania tickets were all but sold out before anyone even knew what any of the matches were no less as late into the game as it's been since Rock decided to show up. The Rock has hardly even influenced the ratings week to week. Punk had that boost last week but after a few shows of him initially being back after Survivor Series he hardly changed much of anything in the numbers. Individual wrestlers aren't draws or needle movers anymore. It's entirely about the promotion itself whether that's WWE or AEW, which was a decided effort to make the norm by the former of those two
