I'm serious.
It's not that they aren't getting paid handsomely for the amount of work they do or don't do but you sign in with Tony and if you are one of those guys he doesn't book for the shows your basically being paid not to be on TV, so you either doing indies as much as your AEW contract allows or sitting at home or catering for maybe 10 matches a year, most in dimeless multi-men matches, if Tony even remembers you exists enough to book you into them.
Then what? You resign or Tony lets you go after 4 years of sitting on your ass career wise, you are in the same place except now you got no hype, lot more miles on your bones and 4 less years to make a name for yourself on other shows.
