Cody was spot on. No one has left a show thinking about the time that they saw Disco Inferno. They left a show thinking "wow, I loved seeing the nWo, wow, we saw the British Bulldog and Scott Hall and Konnan!" and any time that he was placed with someone who was below him, he never elevated them.
Textbook "coasting on others' success". He couldn't get booked when WCW went under because no one from WWE thought he had any worth, so he went to TNA and no one remembers him in TNA apart from being just another man that double J beat in his long TNA run. Never elevated another person in TNA. Didn't bring shit to that company and was arguably only hired because TNA brought Russo.
The SEX faction in TNA (made by Russo) with Road Dogg, Disco Inferno, Naomi and Raven. Out of the entire group of 5, (the other one retired due to donating a kidney), Disco Inferno is probably the 3rd wrestler of the group people might remember, and there's a fucking woman above him.
His name never drew a dime and every opportunity he was thrown to draw one and maybe elevate a talent or prove he was worth anything has turned up dry, which is why he can't get fucking booked.
