His idol Ric Flair infamously did the exact same thing to Scott way back in 1991. The difference then was that Flair was so good that we all knew right away that Flair was sandbagging. Flair could have worked a great match with a broom in 1991, but he can't work against a guy as talented as Scott? Banana Nose got a pass because Scott was older and Gaytch wasn't half the worker that Flair was. Still obvious if you pay attention though.
