That said, man what a brutal promo. If it was completely from the heart and organic, fine. But you know Tony had a hand in it, which makes it so fucking bad.
He's right though, AEW does push wrestling forward. No lie it has made wrestling more fun to watch again. But not because of what they're doing, but what WWE has responded with. And thankfully, they took away a lot of the smark losers who like flippy shit so we don't have to see it. I'm glad more wrestlers are getting paid, too. Tony Khan the money mark dumping tons of money into pro wrestling and helping more wrestlers make a living genuinely is a great thing. AEW still fucking sucks but I'm glad it is around. Even if it's just to make fun of, I'd rather have it be around than not.
