>>14027821I’m gonna preface this by just sayin that consider myself pretty neutral when it comes to WWE vs AEW shit. I generally don’t care for tribalism at all. It’s pretty fucking stupid to defend billion dollar companies.
Besides that, from what I’ve seen from these “we love AEW” promos, I can’t it good conscience say that AEW is putting out good content anymore. Like holy fuck when WWE gets any kind of heavy criticism they literally don’t address it on air like this. Ever. Like they just fucking move along with whatever storylines or PPV build they have going on. The show must go on type shit. Any time AEW is talked negatively in the media and it gets traction, there is always some dramatic response. Whether it’s TK sperging on Twitter for 24 hours or shows like tonight’s where they have to beg the half empty arena to love the company essentially. It’s getting really fucking sad and I hate how AEW is literally morphing my opinion on who I thought were actually great wrestlers. But if they are getting paid and happy with life then I just won’t be watching as much anymore. I do hope AEW figures something out because they were white hot for a bit and I really think Tony Khan needs to find a fucking booker.
