If AEW is so good, why doesn't anyone watch it? Why are the buildings so empty? Why can't they make any money? Where did all the goodwill go?

Because Tony doesn’t care about growing AEW and its talent. Never has. His priority is being friends with all the talent, giving them a playground to do 450 splashes in every week, and getting pats on the back from the internet or exposed hacks like Meltzer has become. Unironically if the talent is “happy” Tony is happy. Where they’re all gonna get real UNhappy is when the network has enough of AEW being anti-dimes numerically annually and decides to not renew with them. That’s when shit will really get real for the promotion.

I think if we look back on everything now it’s become clear that Tony’s vision for AEW and The Elite’s vision for AEW were two different things.

Tf happened with Tony anyway? How did it come to this? Pre-launch wasn’t it well document that Tony was essentially just going to be the money man? Now he’s running the show himself.
