Will is missing a move/spot/sequence that gets the crowd on their feet and participating. Think Claudio Big swing, Danielson Yes kicks, Cena 5 Knuckle shuffle, The Peoples Elbow, and so on.
Ospreays matches on offense, he's moving from spot to spot without really milking the reactions. On defense, he's flopping/rolling around looking like he's hurt...except when he's no selling high-impact offense like vs Takeshita. It's just not convincing, overall. We've already seen this shit from Orange Cassidy and his OCWINSLOL run. Most cruiserweight can have these same matches if you give them 15 minutes every match. Mustafa Ali could do the same run as Ospreay for 1/4 the paycheck.
I wish the guy luck but he's still too used to performing for Smarks and in Japan -- performing for US Casuals, especially in smaller metro areas as AEW expands their footprint, he needs to develop a much bigger repertoire and SHRINK, not expand, his moveset so fans can get some familiarity.
