>>14038393If you haven't been following NXT you don't know how big this show is. Like Shawn has been setting up this Trick Melo feud for a dogs age and finally pulled the trigger not to long ago. The build up to this match and Melo going to the main roster is a big deal.
Ilja is pretty much the boss of NXT who has carried it during rough patches with his most excellent work and some pretty heartfelt and genuine promos he cut. Tony Gabagool is the most New Generations era character on a program that is leaning hard into the New Generations era style. Somehow Tony takes a goofy gimmick and makes it not just work but be genuinely entertaining. He isn't as amazing of a showman in ring as Ilja, he isn't half as crazy as Ilja, but he is way better as a shoot athelete and techinical wrestler as well as being able to put his character across mid match through pretty much everything he does.
Bron has been a trip to watch. Even from his first match he had IT. Like it took him a minute to get used to the ring and for those Steiner genes to express themselves but they have and his growth as an athlete and performer has been amazing. Bron is so good he took Baron Corbin, who was sent down to NXT as a last chance before Future Endeavoring, and turned him around into an endearing and entertaining midcard guy who has a future once again.
Dijak was a dimeless shitter on the main roster who worked and acted like an indie midget. He was also on his way down and out until Shawn saved him. Shawn taught him how to work as a big man and to become an actual character instead of just being some insecure faggot trying to earn Reddit's approval. Dijak is facing Oba Femi a shoot Nigerian who has had a rocket strapped to him since entering the PC because he is huge, can talk, and carries himself with genuine presence.
This card is going to be amazing if you are an NXTitan.
Shawn Spears sucks but not much we can do about it since it seems like he is there on direct orders from H.
